Are you a highly organised and customer-focused professional looking for a rewarding role where your work supports an important public service?

Wiltshire Registration Service are seeking a Certificate Officer to join our friendly team and help deliver an efficient and high-quality certificate service for Wiltshire residents and beyond.

In this role, you will process applications for birth, death, marriage and civil partnership certificates relating to events registered in Wiltshire. You will search registration records, prepare certified copy certificates and ensure applications are handled accurately and efficiently. You will also provide advice and guidance to customers, responding to enquiries in person, by telephone and via email with professionalism and care.

Alongside customer service responsibilities, you will undertake a range of administrative tasks, including processing payments, maintaining accurate records and supporting the day-to-day operation of the service.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who enjoys working with people and delivering high standards of customer service.

You will be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet-based systems, with a flexible, team-oriented approach and a strong eye for accuracy.
