Responsible for examination and processing of all Canadian and US change requests, (contractual and non-contractual) to ensure required documents are submitted and comply with legal and contractual provisions
Responsible for analyzing change requests to ensure changes can be processed, if not, proactive in informing the Producer and/or member
Complete all necessary calculations (e.g. cost of insurance, target premiums, termination penalty, etc.) required for all change requests
Input all change requests on the various administrative systems, NWB, NB+U, Vantage, CFM, USSI and CRM
Update CRM & USSI with pertinent information related to the change request
Process change requests within allotted service levels
Submit appropriate documentation to Commissions Team to facilitate Producer compensation
Investigate and escalate system rejects to either Sr. Certificate Change Specialist and/or Help desk for resolution
Manage verbal and written communication to and from members/Producers and internal customers
Assist other departments with product and rider related inquiries
Assist other team members as required during vacation, absences and peak workload periods
Must have knowledge of Foresters products, legacy and new
Must have knowledge of Foresters systems (CFM, Vantage, NB+U, Ezbiz, BlueSky, USSI and CRM)
Knowledge of Foresters change and conversion processes is a definite asset
Strong computer skills, accurate keyboarding with good basic knowledge of Word, EXCEL and Windows required
Ability to take the initiative, make decisions independently and within the team environment
Knowledge of applicable state, provincial and federal legislative/regulation requirements related to form/documentation requirements for certificate changes
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong aptitude for working with figures and calculations and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work and work effectively under pressure and time constraints (weekly, monthly and year-end deadlines)
Demonstrated customer service focus and team orientation and must be flexible to changing priorities and work demands
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including delivering difficult messages to agents/members
Must be currently enrolled in LOMA or committed to completing LOMA courses once in the role

Salary Range:
$43,000 - $63,000
Incumbent must be able to work various shifts between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and some Canadian holidays.
The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
