In this role, you will provide essential operational and research administration support to a psychology  centre. You will coordinate events, engagement activities and facilities that help world-class research thrive and grow. You will gain broad exposure to clinical, neuroscience and behavioural research across a vibrant academic community. 

What you will deliver:  

  • Provide high-quality operational, finance, facilities and recruitment support for assigned Centre. 

  • Coordinate meetings, events, seminar series and visitor logistics, including communications, websites and social media. 

  • Support research administration, including internal schemes, grant and tender submissions, ethics, and participant payments. 

  • Maintain accurate records, databases and budget tracking, ensuring compliance with University policies and processes. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement, problem solving and change initiatives within the School's operations team. 

You may be a great fit if you:  

  • Hold a completed degree plus substantial relevant administration experience, or equivalent education and training. 

  • Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail across concurrent activities. 

  • Provide proven operational, engagement or research administration support within complex, multi-stakeholder environments. 

  • Communicate clearly and confidently in writing and verbally with academics, students and external partners. 

  • Use MS Office effectively and quickly learn new University systems, digital tools and online platforms. 

  • Bring experience or interest in events, finance, web editing or social media for research communication.
