Your next career opportunity
In this role, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to a leading public health department. You will coordinate resources, events and stakeholder engagement, enabling world-class research and teaching to thrive.
What you will deliver:
Provide high-level executive support to the Centre Director and senior staff, including complex diary and correspondence management.
Coordinate meetings, seminars, conferences and travel logistics, ensuring details are accurate, timely and aligned with University processes.
Act as first point of contact for staff and students, advising on policies, procedures, expenses and approvals.
Improve local administrative systems, records and workflows to enhance efficiency and support strategic Centre and School projects.
Maintain Centre resources, spaces and communications, including website content, office coordination and OHS-related inductions and documentation.
You may be a great fit if you:
Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, or bring equivalent experience in complex office and executive administration.
Demonstrate experience supporting senior academic or research staff, including complex travel, meetings, committees and accurate records management.
Coordinate events, courses or forums end-to-end, from planning and promotion to logistics, registration and follow-up.
Manage competing deadlines confidently, setting priorities, working calmly under pressure and contributing positively within collaborative teams.
Communicate clearly in writing and in person, building productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Use Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams and web content tools confidently, with capacity to learn new university systems.
