About the Role
As Central Spares Supply Planning Manager, you will lead a team of planners delivering spare parts and equipment globally to Customer Fulfilment Centres and client sites. You will optimise inventory accuracy, drive material availability, and advance our Oracle Fusion MRP planning systems while supporting the Global Spares Director.
In this role, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives across end-to-end supply chain processes and manage 3PL relationships. You will also support new product integrations and mentor your team to maintain high service levels internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct line management of Central Spares Supply Planners, supporting career growth through mentoring and regular performance reviews.
- Ensure overall material and finished goods availability to consistently meet global demand plans in a balanced, cost-effective manner.
- Lead the operational development and continuous enhancement of MRP planning processes within Oracle Fusion.
- Act as the key escalation point for supply planning issues and conduct regular reviews with service and management teams to refine end-to-end supply chain workflows.
- Oversee daily supply planner workloads, priorities, purchase orders, sales orders, and supplier interactions.
- Maintain, review, and communicate up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training for supply planning processes.
- Manage daily operational requirements and statements of work (SOW) for Central Spares warehousing and third-party logistics (3PL/2PL) providers.
- Drive the supply chain and operational integration of new products into the Central Spares ecosystem.
- Manage inter-site stock transfers and maintain meticulous inventory data accuracy with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resolve invoice queries by identifying root causes and support the monthly spares financial reporting process.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven operations management experience within a demand and supply chain environment.
- Demonstrable line management experience with a track record of leading, mentoring, and developing teams.
- Deep understanding of S&OP and operational processes, along with hands-on experience using MRP/ERP platforms.
- Proven track record of leading and successfully delivering continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain workflows.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret large datasets with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organisational levels.
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace tools, CMMS, and advanced ERP/MRP software.

- Experience working directly with Oracle Fusion MRP systems.
- Experience overseeing international 3PL/2PL supplier relationships and warehouse operations.
