The Central Fill Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of prescription orders within Genoa Healthcare's centralized pharmacy operations. This role supports high-volume processing while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional service to patients and clinic partners.
Pharmacy Location: 68 Cumberland St, Ste 102, Woonsocket, RI 02895
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:30am - 8:00pm
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescription accuracy and clinical appropriateness
  • Oversee automated and manual dispensing in the central fill workflow
  • Ensure timely and safe fulfillment of daily prescription volume
  • Support compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with technicians to maintain efficient, high quality operations
  • Assist with inventory control and controlled substance procedure

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Rhode Island

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a LTC pharmacy setting
  • Leadership experience and skills
  • Familiarity with automation including Parata and SynMed

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
