The Accountant role is a vital member of the finance team, contributing to the accurate and timely financial reporting of our organization. Your duties will include preparing financial statements, conducting monthly and annual account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You will also be involved in budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and providing tax support. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions. This role requires a detail oriented individual with strong problem solving abilities and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
General ledger, ensuring compliance with US GAAP (accounting, closing, reconciliation), SOx and statutory accounting standards.
Responsabilities:
· Expertise, controllership in Revenue Recognition (expandable to other ledgers)
· Support process improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing controls and driving transformation, particularly in localization, go live phases for SAP S4 Hana & Concur Global Pay project as well as the move of AP and AR under their management.
· Collaborate with teams across the East and Central Region – Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, Sox leadership& expertise.
· Handle assigned day-to-day operational finance tasks while prioritizing strategic projects.
· Liaise with FPA
· Think outside the box to develop innovative solutions for complex financial challenges.
Qualifications:
· 5 - 8 years + of experience in finance, with a strong background in accounting.
· Proficiency in US GAAP
· Demonstrated data and project management skills.
· Experience with S4 Hana, Workiva and OneStream an advantage
· Skilled user of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Comfortable working with multiple ERP systems and in a transformation / changing environment.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
