Position Description
As a D365 CE Developer, you will be responsible for performing billable client work, including but not limited to application development and maintenance, architecture design, and peer code review. This position is also expected to maintain ongoing relationships with key client contacts, provide guidance and assistance to other developers as well as participate in business development activities by extending services to existing clients or designing solutions for new clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop in Microsoft .NET, C#, and other Microsoft Stack languages, including aspects of the core, advanced solutions and industry specific solutions
- Provide application support and training
- Must follow and enforce RSM's software development lifecycle (SDLC) policy
- Discuss highly technical topics with clients in an easy-to-understand way
- Recognize and respond to market opportunities and client needs
- Create estimates for assigned developments
- Report daily progress on development and issue resolution
Skills and Experience
A successful candidate will have good attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, and the ability to work on their own as well as within a small team. Candidates should demonstrate willingness to go the extra mile for the team's success. They will be a leader, problem solver, creative thinker, and interested in learning their clients' business. This position is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional with a strong background in small to mid-market custom applications to grow in our Application Development and Integration practice.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 0-2+ of .NET Development (C# preference)
- Familiar with Microsoft DataVerse customization capabilities: Plugins, Custom Workflow Assemblies, Power Apps Control Framework
- Source Control (TFVC and Git)
- Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
- Understanding of web technologies: JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET,jQuery
- Azure serverless technologies: Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault
Preferred Qualifications
- MSP Good oral and written communication skills
- Azure DevOps with pipeline experience
- Azure serverless technologies o Azure Message Queues o Azure File Services
- Ability to apply system design and development methodologies
- Power Platform Portal Experience or similar CMS experience (Portal Connector)
- Understanding of web service architectures o Windows Communication Foundations (WCF) o RESTful APIs o WebAPI and OData
- Accounting ERP or Customer Relationship Management system experience
- Systems Integration
- Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at various levels
