Responsibilities:
Safely transport goods on local/otr routes, while ensuring on time delivery
Must have experience with Port of Houston Terminals and Rail Yards.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle/trailer equipment
Maintain HOS via ELD app MOTIVE
Follow all applicable laws and regulations regarding the operation of a commercial vehicle.
This position does offer the opportunity to be home daily!

Skills Required
- CDL-A (Class A Commercial Driver's License)
- Owner-operator status with truck and trailer
- Container experience (working with port containers)
- Experience with Port of Houston terminals and rail yards
- Maintain Hours of Service via ELD (Motive)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle/trailer inspections
- Comply with all DOT and commercial vehicle laws/regulations
