Alaska Waste, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a CDL Trainee to join our team in Anchorage, AK. We will train you and help you get your Class B CDL for free!
The schedule will be Monday – Friday, 5:30am start times, 8 hours per day. Pay will be $19-23 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a labor-intensive position requiring regular heavy lifting.
We are looking for laborers who are interested in starting a driving career and grow, within the company.
Responsibilities Include:
Cleaning equipment with pressure washer
Picking up litter
General site cleanup
Container Assembly
Other assigned laborer duties
Requirements:
At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor/operator type position.
Ability to safely use a pressure washer.
Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift.
Clean driving record
