Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough customer due diligence (CDD) reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank's policies
- Analyze customer information and documentation to identify potential risks and red flags
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify customer data
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the bank's systems
- Escalate any suspicious activities or transactions to the appropriate authorities
- Stay informed of the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices related to CDD
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or compliance
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using relevant software and systems for CDD and compliance tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
