Job Purpose
- Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or
- Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or
- RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association
Work Experience:
- 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.

Skills Required
