Invasive Vascular Tech - Cath Lab Tech
$15,000 Sign-On Bonus!!
Full-Time, 7:30a - 4p, Call Required, Employees must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the safe operation of fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Coordinates care with the physicians and other departments.
Performs in the following roles for adult and geriatric cardiac catheterization procedures: computer operator, scrub assistant, second circulator, and recovery technician.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with current registration in the state of Kentucky and registered with the ARRT, or higher.
Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course required upon hire.
BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.
Ability to work well under stress and possess effective communication skills is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One-year invasive vascular experience preferred.
