You will be accountable for the Baby & Child Care & Fem Care category strategy and trade executional plan to ensure the achievement of the SSA business KPI's. The role will manage and be responsible for

category insights and analytics, shopper and trade marketing teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning and developing the total Category Value Drive Strategy / landscape across Personal Care for KC

  • Ensure Value Driver Platforms are integrated into the Annual Business plan and SBP planning cycles

  • Drive Category captaincy & thought leadership within key Customers

  • Owner of the executive insight into the Quarterly Forecasting process:

  • Inform the in-year and long-term growth trajectory of the categories with the right monthly tracking and

  • cadence of insights and market understanding

  • Owner and accountable for the total commercial team’s enablement of insights in the required format/structure to drive fast effective insights for each function while also continuously focusing on the commercial team’s capability development

  • Accountable for the total SA Shopper & Trade Marketing Strategy development in conjunction with the Marketing Managers in the short, medium and long term

  • Senior engagement with retailers relevant marketing, shopper and buying teams (customer facing) to develop partnerships that deliver against retailer and KC KPI’s while ensuring the shopper areas are being solved for (Shopper / Omnichannel JBP development)

  • Accountable for the creation and deployment of pricing parameters and deal structures for PC categories

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in sales and/or marketing.

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in multichannel and shopper/category understanding (in-depth knowledge required)

  • Proven track record of mastery of industry data and enablement of commercial selling teams

  • Business Acumen – The ability to understand & apply internal & external business drivers & metrics to achieve desired business results.

  • Revenue Growth Management –The ability to identify & activate initiatives that deliver profitable growth, by ensuring the right product range, price & promotional strategy, in the right place for the right consumer & shopper occasion.

  • Indispensable Partnership – The ability to bring our value proposition to life by collaborating effectively with our partners, developing mutually beneficial business plans to drive growth.

  • Selling with Insights - The ability to sell to & influence our business partners using compelling communication, actionable insights & quantified solutions
