We’re seeking a driven and strategic sourcing professional to lead our North America traded goods sourcing team in our Southeast Asia region. You’ll manage a talented team, build strong supplier partnerships, and drive cost efficiency through smart negotiations and market insights. You will report into our Global Category Manager, Traded Goods, NA, with a dotted line into our Senior Global Category Manager, Traded Goods in Singapore. Main forums and stakeholders include our North America Commercial and Procurement team, vendors, logistics partners, and our traded goods procurement team in region.

What you'll be doingLead and inspire the North America traded goods sourcing team across Southeast Asia, driving performance and collaboration.
Own market intelligence, vendor relationships, and final reporting to the North America team.
Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, reliable suppliers, and quality partnerships.
Develop and execute annual cost optimization plans, leading supplier negotiations to achieve the best value and performance.
Ensure a cost-competitive supply base by running tenders, benchmarking exercises, and continuous market analysis.
Understand business needs across units and ensure seamless alignment with Group category strategies.
Oversee supplier onboarding and phase-out processes in full compliance with approval procedures.
Manage cross-functional sourcing project teams (including Sales and NPD).
Maintain accurate and efficient Master Data management for the traded goods database.
Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in product purchasing or sourcing.
Minimum 1 year of people management experience.
Prior experience in the packaging industry is a strong advantage.
Excellent product sense, highly organized, and detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to build and maintain complex costing tools.
Strong command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel for business as required.
