Category Manager Taste CA East in Warszawa, Poland | Product Line & Product Management at Electrolux Group

About the Role:

Are you a commercially driven Product or Category Manager who enjoys turning market insights into growth opportunities? Do you thrive in an international environment where strategy, innovation, and business performance come together?

We are looking for a Category Manager – Taste to lead the category agenda across the CA EAST region. In this role, you will drive product strategy, portfolio optimization, product launches, and profitability while collaborating with multiple stakeholders across countries and central functions.

You will report directly to the Product Line Taste Director CA East

What you’ll do:

As our Category Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the regional category strategy and ensuring sustainable growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and driving the creation of local strategic plans by product group and sales channel in line with the Group strategy.

•  Managing the commercial agenda, including:

  • Product phase-in and phase-out processes
  • Sales forecasting
  • Monitoring slow-moving and non-moving products
  • Portfolio complexity management
  • Profitability optimization
  • New product launches

• Participating in annual planning processes, business reviews, and sales performance discussions.

• Acting as the voice of the CA EAST region in collaboration with central functions, ensuring regional business needs and opportunities are represented.

• Driving product management activities across local markets.

• Defining product assortments and recommended pricing strategies based on market trends, customer value, competitive analysis, and profitability goals.

• Managing the full product lifecycle for Taste categories, from concept to commercialization and phase-out.

• Identifying growth opportunities and evaluating market development potential together with local countries and the PL Taste Director.

• Monitoring consumer trends, competitive activity, and market innovations, translating insights into business recommendations.

• Providing valuable market input into new product development processes.

• Maintaining ownership of the category model catalogue.

• Leading and developing a Commercial Specialist.

• Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, and other key stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing product and category strategies.
  • Strong track record of driving commercialization, product growth, and business performance.
  • Experience with P&L ownership, financial analysis, business planning, and business case development.
  • Ability to balance short-term business priorities with long-term growth opportunities.
  • Experience working in a matrix and international organization is highly desirable.
  • Fluent English is required. proficiency in additional languages will be considered an advantage.
