Bring your energy to Aggreko as Category Manager – Indirect Procurement. You will drive cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and operational reliability for Aggreko’s new manufacturing plant in Pune, India. This role involves strategic sourcing and category leadership for key indirect categories supporting plant operations and infrastructure, including CapEx, mechanical parts, and maintenance services.

What you’ll do:
Develop and Execute Category Strategies: Create and implement strategies for Capex goods and plant services, aligning with business objectives and manufacturing needs.
Lead End-to-End Sourcing Processes: Manage the entire sourcing lifecycle, including market analysis, supplier identification, RFP/RFQ, negotiation, and performance evaluation for critical projects.
Conduct Complex Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms, conditions, SLAs, and compliance with legal and company policies.
Monitor Performance and Reporting: Establish and track KPIs for Capex and services, providing regular reports on savings, supplier performance, and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Partner with senior stakeholders across various departments (IT, HR, Finance, etc.) to understand technical requirements and align procurement strategy.
Manage Supplier Performance & Risk: Oversee supplier performance through KPIs and continuous improvement, and mitigate supply risks to ensure business continuity.
You are:
Extensive Procurement Experience: Over 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, specifically focusing on Capex goods and services within a fast-paced environment, particularly for manufacturing plants.
Strong Commercial & Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in indirect procurement categories, strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills, coupled with deep knowledge of the Indian supply base for Capex and Service procurement.
Global Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse global stakeholders, demonstrating self-awareness and appreciation for different cultures and languages.
Effective Communication & Adaptability: An authentic, inclusive communicator capable of navigating a fast-moving business environment and ensuring function performance against KPIs.
Relevant Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is required, with an MBA or Post Graduate degree preferred.
