As the Category Manager for eCommerce at BWS, you are responsible for achieving the key business drivers in Sales, Profit and Inventory targets for the online portfolio.
You’ll be a key strategic partner with the eCommerce team, bringing the worlds of eCommerce and Merchandise together to deliver world class customer experiences.
Reporting to the Head of Brand Merchandise for BWS & partnering closely with each of the Merchandise, Operations, eCommerce EDX and Marketing teams, you will support the development and execution of the eCommerce and category strategies in your channel.

Here’s a snapshot of the Category Manager - eCommerce responsibilities:
- Consistent management of category sales and profit metrics, and forecasting of future performance.
- Optimise the merchandising of products on the BWS website, app and partner sites to maximise profit.
- Deliver the plans for eCommerce promotional events, collaborating to ensure delivery of overall business goals.
- Continuously leverage data and insights to drive improvement and sustainable growth.
- Collaborate across teams and have an intimate understanding of competitors, brands, consumers & shopper trends.
- Develop and empower your team to work end to end together, improving current processes and driving new initiatives to ensure the ongoing successful integration of eCommerce into the customer plan.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to form collaborative relationships.
- Retail planning and merchandise management experience, preferably within eCommerce
- Understanding and application of core category management skills, including leverage of customer data & insights to lead decision making
- You have a strong commercial and business acumen and a proven ability to create ultimate customer experiences and results through team development. .
- Experience in leadership positions, with demonstrated management experience.
