We’re looking for a Senior Category Management Consultant who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to work on a large scale project, supporting Commercial teams at Waitrose. This is a hybrid working role at our Waitrose head office in Bracknell.
This is a 12 month FTC, with the potential for this to be extended / made permanent.
Joining our Retail team, you’ll work with world class and passionate people to bring the customer to the forefront of decisions made at Waitrose. Externally, you will lead the delivery of category management recommendations to commercial teams at Waitrose, and work with SRM on how to bring those to life. Internally, you will work across our solutions and in partnership with applied data scientists to develop agile solutions.
What we expect from you
- Experience in leading the delivery of projects that involve multiple stakeholders and complex questions
- Experience in building client relationships and managing stakeholders
- Experience in embedding customer solutions into your client’s decision making
- Experience in an FMCG retailer, supplier or consultancy
- Commercial acumen to identify opportunities for our client and dunnhumby
- Ability to look at data critically, interpret it and present insight and actions to client
- Category Management experience desirable, but not essential
- Advanced Excel skills desirable, but not essential
- On site with clients up to 3 days a week
