The Role

The role:

As the Category Management Analyst, you will use analysis to uncover opportunities and develop relevant recommendations to improve Kao's relationship with our retail customers to a strategic level. Reporting to our Customer Sales Leader, through unbiased analysis, you will earn the trust of main influencers at retail to impact major our decisions in the development of their category. In sales, you manage and allocate resources to illuminate Kao portfolio leadership internally and externally, focusing on important sales initiatives.

What you will do:

Category Management Support

  • Support category growth for assigned retailers by delivering data-driven insights and tactical recommendations across distribution, promotion, pricing, placement, and omni-channel strategies.

Sales Strategy Analysis

  • Provide analytical support to the sales team by contributing to the development of retail trade strategies during the annual planning process.

Cross-Functional Analytical Support

  • Deliver fact-based analysis across multiple data sources to support sales and marketing teams in answering business questions, shaping plans, and identifying growth opportunities for assigned categories.

Shopper & E-Commerce Marketing Support

  • Assist the Shopper Marketing team by analyzing digital plans, supporting e-commerce development, and contributing to customer marketing amplification strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams across the commercial regularly share insights, results, and recommendations to across the organization. Foster a positive, transparent, growth minded and collaborative team environment, promoting professional growth and development across ONE Kao commercial team.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required in a business discipline with a focus on analytics
  • 1+ years of experience in Category Management, Sales Analysis, or Marketing Analysis in the Consumer Products Industry
  • Strong project management skills, experience utilizing multiple data sources, proficiency in syndicated data, loyalty data, and panel data
