At FORMEL SKIN, part of the VOY family, we're redefining how people access healthcare. Together, we're building one of Europe's leading digital health platforms, helping millions of people improve their health through personalised treatments across dermatology, weight management, and preventative care.

Backed by some of Europe's leading health and consumer investors, FORMEL SKIN and VOY combine medical expertise, technology, and customer-centric innovation to make evidence-based healthcare more accessible, convenient, and effective. To date, we have supported millions of customers and patients through personalised treatment journeys and continue to expand our impact across new health categories.

As Category Lead you are driving our Dermatology category in Germany: you decide where we invest, how we grow, and you own the number end-to-end You'll report to the Chief of Growth, work day-to-day with product, marketing, operations, customer support and finance, and run the category with real autonomy. This is an individual contributor role with GM-level ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Category strategy. Define and own the 1–2 year growth strategy for Dermatology in Germany, including investment priorities, target segments and the initiatives to pursue, with full accountability for delivering it profitably.

  • Online shop ownership. Manage our core commercial channel end to end — assortment and pricing, funnel and conversion, checkout and payments, promotions and lifecycle — and set the roadmap and sequencing of initiatives.

  • Cross-functional optimisation. Manage acquisition, retention, operations and payments as one system, optimising for the overall category outcome rather than individual levers, and accounting for the trade-offs between them.

  • Marketing and product alignment. Translate category strategy into campaigns, onboarding, treatment journeys and customer experience improvements, in close collaboration with product marketing and the product team.

  • Performance management. Define, track and report the KPI set below, establish a regular performance review rhythm, identify the drivers behind performance shifts and adjust the plan accordingly.

  • Stakeholder management. Present analysis and recommendations to the leadership team and cross-functional partners, and keep our London headquarters informed of developments in the German business.

Success measures

You will own a defined KPI set across four areas, agreed with the Chief of Growth and reviewed quarterly:

  • Revenue and growth — category revenue and growth trajectory, new patient acquisition, and share of the German dermatology market.

  • Acquisition efficiency — blended and paid CAC, LTV:CAC ratio, payback period, and marketing efficiency across channels.

  • Retention and subscription health — repeat and refill rates, subscription renewal, churn, and cohort retention.

  • Profitability — contribution margin and category P&L, cost per treatment, and the underlying conversion and payment economics.

The role is accountable for both dimensions: growth is expected to be delivered within clear profitability parameters.

What you need to shine
  • 3–5+ years in a growth or generalist marketing role, ideally in a high-growth consumer company or scaleup

  • A genuine growth-strategy mindset — you think about the business as a whole, not one channel at a time

  • A combined understanding of marketing and product, and the credibility to work across both

  • Concrete, quantifiable growth stories: you've grown a revenue line or doubled a key metric, and you can explain exactly how

  • Strong commercial and analytical judgement — comfortable with unit economics, cohorts and a P&L — paired with the ability to tell a clear, compelling story with the data

  • A high degree of ownership and self-direction: you prioritise, decide and move in a fast-changing environment without waiting to be asked

  • Comfort working cross-functionally and across countries, including with a UK-based HQ

  • Fluent English; German is a strong advantage

Nice to have

  • Experience with subscription or membership business models

  • E-commerce or D2C ownership (shop, funnel, pricing, checkout)

  • Multi-market experience across more than one country or region

  • A background in skincare, beauty, health or consumer health-tech
