The Category Insights Analyst is responsible for assisting with category, business and financial planning activities of C&S Category Management function. The Analyst position maintains critical planning resources and documentation to support the growth of the C&S Independent Grocery Channel.Job Description

- $59,140 - $76,935/year
You will contribute by:
- Generate, analyze and communicate key market, category, consumer and shopper data that informs key cross functional decision makers. Utilize provided primary and secondary intelligence platforms (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, trade journals, industry publications, etc.)
- Engage all key external agency-partner relationships (Nielsen, IRI, Advantage, SPINS, Numerator) to ensure real time understanding of key market, category, consumer and shopper drivers that impact C&S Sales and Performance
- Research and develop competitive market, product and trade intelligence reporting to keep the enterprise abreast of competitive market conditions
- Maintain master independent store list with all related complimentary classification, categorization, and location specific details
- Administer the CMCA intelligence portal including content management, user intelligence, user feedback and future evolution recommendations
- Cross functional support with Category Development & Category Management and Merchandising
- Support project management activities for all applicable work-streams
