Job Description
Objective:
The Category Finance Manager will play a crucial role in driving profitable growth for our Kraft Heinz business. This individual will be responsible for providing financial leadership, analysis, and support to the category/marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Consumer Goods industry, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Activities/Deliverables:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage category-level financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Conduct financial analysis to assess category performance, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
    • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
    • Collaborate in the IBP process.
  • Pricing and Promotion Strategy:
    • Collaborate with Category/Marketing and RGM teams to develop pricing and promotion strategies that optimize profitability and market share.
    • Analyze the impact of pricing and promotional activities on revenue, profit, and customer behavior.
  • Cost Management:
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
    • Monitor and control Brand/SKU margin.
  • Business Partnering:
    • Serve as a trusted business partner to the category team, providing financial insights and guidance.
    • Support decision-making by providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis:
    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed to address specific business questions or challenges.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage a team of 3 direct reports, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
    • Delegate Tasks effectively and ensure team members are motivated and engaged.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.


Skills/Competencies:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
  • Advanced knowledge of P&L Structure, Financial Mathematics, and Project Evaluation (NPV, payback, and TIR)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Accounting
  • Intermediate knowledge of Tax Principles
  • Bachelor's Degree (postgraduate and/or MBA preferred)
  • Advanced English
