Job Description
Objective:
The Category Finance Manager will play a crucial role in driving profitable growth for our Kraft Heinz business. This individual will be responsible for providing financial leadership, analysis, and support to the category/marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Consumer Goods industry, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Activities/Deliverables:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage category-level financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess category performance, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate in the IBP process.
- Pricing and Promotion Strategy:
- Collaborate with Category/Marketing and RGM teams to develop pricing and promotion strategies that optimize profitability and market share.
- Analyze the impact of pricing and promotional activities on revenue, profit, and customer behavior.
- Cost Management:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
- Monitor and control Brand/SKU margin.
- Business Partnering:
- Serve as a trusted business partner to the category team, providing financial insights and guidance.
- Support decision-making by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Ad-hoc Analysis:
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed to address specific business questions or challenges.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage a team of 3 direct reports, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
- Delegate Tasks effectively and ensure team members are motivated and engaged.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Skills/Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
- Advanced knowledge of P&L Structure, Financial Mathematics, and Project Evaluation (NPV, payback, and TIR)
- Intermediate knowledge of Accounting
- Intermediate knowledge of Tax Principles
- Bachelor's Degree (postgraduate and/or MBA preferred)
- Advanced English
