We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Consumer Goods Customer Marketing Team in Portugal. In this position you will lead and manage the Category Management and Shopper Marketing strategies for the assigned categories and customers.
- Develop and lead Category Management activities to win in the prioritized channels with the assigned customers, for all our categories: Consumer Tissue, Incontinence, Cotton Pads and Baby Diapers.
- Drive and implement strategies and tailored action plans for assortment, distribution, promotion and visibility, both for offline and ecommerce:
- Assortment: define the right priority list by channel and ensure the right approach by customer. Always look for opportunities in specific channels.
- Distribution: Lead and ensure the implementation of distribution plans according to channel priorities.
- Promotion and Visibility: develop and lead the implementation of shopper activation plans. Manage the implementation of specific customer initiatives (i.e. display waves, ecommerce exclusive promotions). Contribute to the success of Marketing driven initiatives.
- Give recommendations and propose specific action plans based on KPIs and insights analysis (sell-in and sell-out, market and shopper insights)
- Develop PoS materials to support innovations and campaigns and generate in store activations.
- Participate on Forecast and Budget process, delivering estimations of growth for the assigned categories.
- Manage the assigned budget, ensuring the best ROI for the actions and proposing alternatives if needed.
- Keep a strong collaboration with the main stakeholders and work on transversal projects and action plans: Sales, Marketing, Field Sales Force, NRM.
- Share Best Practices and learnings with the team and the main stakeholders.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar
- 2-3 years' experience in FMCG (Shopper Marketing, Customer Marketing...)
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Nielsen tools
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good team player, able to work in multi-functional projects.
- Organized and able to manage and meet deadlines and multitask daily activities
