We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support our Product Management team in driving sourcing excellence and cost efficiency. In this role, you’ll help optimize our supplier base, manage traded goods data, and ensure timely, competitive supply across categories. If you’re analytical, organized, and ready to make an impact in a dynamic, global environment, we want to hear from you.
You will report into our Global Category Manager, Traded Goods, NA. Main forums and stakeholders include our North America Commercial and Procurement team, vendors, logistics partners, and our traded goods procurement team in region.
Where you’ll beYou will be located at Huhtamaki's Ho Chi Minh City location.
What you'll be doingPartner closely with the North America Product Management team to boost top-line growth while optimizing inventory levels.
Drive cost efficiency by identifying savings opportunities and building a reliable, high-quality supplier network.
Analyze category and product sales trends to uncover insights and guide strategic sourcing decisions.
Develop and execute the annual sourcing pipeline to support business goals and innovation.
Secure cost-competitive supply through tenders, benchmarking, and ongoing market analysis.
Understand business needs across units and ensure seamless alignment with Group category plans.
Oversee Master Data management for the traded goods database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all sourcing activities.
Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in product purchasing or sourcing.
Prior experience in the packaging industry is a strong advantage.
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to build and maintain complex costing tools.
Strong command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel for business as required.
Excellent product sense, highly organized, and detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
