About the Role

Manage and lead the growth and development of your Tommy Hilfiger category channel through strategic market analysis, brand management and product selection for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Reporting to the Category Manager, you will understand customer needs and build exceptional relationships with all key stakeholders both internally and externally.

Based at our Head Office in the heart of the CBD, located at 388 George Street 2000, this is a full-time hybrid role working from home and in the office weekly.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement short and long-term brand plans in line with the brand strategic plan.
  • Develop operating plans/strategic objectives with a rolling 12-month vision and a longer-term perspective of the market.
  • Together with the Sales Directors, develop business strategies to grow nominated product channels market share.
  • Set budgets with financial KPI’s of sales and gross margin, built up by product plans and margin mix.
  • Build and manage growth with key customer Amazon, within agreed business plan.
  • Ensure that range selections/buying (indent styles and basic ongoing styles) for all Marketplace channels are consistent with positioning/marketing requirements.
  • Build and manage growth of the ANZ Independent and small Specialty store network, developing and executing clear product strategies.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience and proven track record in Category Management within the retail/wholesale field.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Australian retail market.
  • Able to demonstrate strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Commercial acumen, strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret results, analyse and plan ahead for the future.
  • Skills in analysis, time management, communication, problem solving and innovative thinking and doing. Perceptive.
  • Results orientated through implementing and driving sales strategy.
  • Stakeholder management, ability to positively engage with others and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and digital presentation.
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of SAP ERP.
  • Able to regularly travel interstate and internationally.
  • Australian driver licence and own vehicle.
