The Role:
Reporting to the Category Manager, the Category Assistant will support the Category Team in the growth and profitability of a specific category, whilst having a strong focus on merchandise activities, administrative processes, and data analytics.
Duties include:
- Support all members of the category team
- Part Creations
- Purchasing
- Inventory updates including product detail, pricing and stock reorder triggers
- Administer processes & procedures relating to the category
- Compile reporting
- Assist with retail and trade promotional builds and ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with range reviews, introductions, and clearance
About You:
- High level excel skills
- Retail experience desirable
- Strong organisational skills and able to juggle a number of constantly changing priorities
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work effectively without close supervision, with a flexible approach
- Knowledge of the motorcycle accessory marketplace an advantage
- Studies in Business Management, Retail Merchandise related fields an advantage
