Position Summary:
This position will report to the Category Management Director - Reliability and Mechanical Integrity Services. Responsibilities will include negotiation, day-to-day support and administration of Industrial Contractor Services agreement for the enterprise.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and support heightened reliability & cost predictability across the enterprise. This individual will bring strong analytical and negotiation capabilities, a solid understanding of both TRACK and SAP Purchasing modules and processes and a customer-focused mindset. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build productive, collaborative relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The candidate must be adept at managing multiple priorities and coordinating a diverse range of assignments in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborates on the development and execution of category strategies in close alignment with Category Manager. This includes performing market intelligence, KPI tracking/reporting, building business base-cases/scope for commercial negotiations, supporting supplier selection and leading/supporting contract negotiations.
• Conducts ongoing market analysis and leverage Supply Chain knowledge related to market trends and spend analytics.
• Supports sourcing events & economic analysis, cost modeling, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• With the support of the Category Manager, participates in the preparation and negotiation of agreements with key Suppliers, and periodically renew pricelists, terms, and conditions.
• Runs benchmark studies, gather, and analyze data, and makes recommendations to the Category Management team in alignment with business objectives and category strategies.
• Performs root cause and sensitivity analysis related to supply challenges, disruptions, or other market forces.
• Onboards new Suppliers in close collaboration with the Category Manager and coordinate regular supplier evaluations.
• Seeks and identifies opportunities for value capture (cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue enhancement) and risk reduction within assigned categories.
• Supports site operational and transactional Supply Chain activities to ensure alignment with category strategies.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Four (4) or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience.
