The Role

Category Administrator

Do you have a passion for building meaningful relationships?

As a Category Administrator, you will support the Category Leader within one of our buying teams. You’ll be involved in product research and analysis, act as a liaison on all aspects of advertising and signage processes, process execution, store communication, product lifecycle management support, vendor relations, financial analysis, and event coordination to attain business goals and objectives. You will execute processes while gaining additional retail industry knowledge to drive business value.

In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

  • SKU set-up
  • Process execution, including price promotion, price substantiation, and log generation
  • Product research and price change coordination
  • Data entry, report generation, and analysis
  • Product transition management
  • Vendor relations as it relates to vendor funding

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years in a business background and want to build your career in buying and merchandise management  
  • Confidence, detail oriented, organized, an executor, and driven to succeed
  • A self-starter who thrives in a constantly changing and fast-paced team environment
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills
  • The ability to partner with different stakeholders, where communication and follow up skills are key

$49,000.00 - $55,000.00

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
