Position Summary:
Works closely with business stakeholders to develop and create specification books. Plays a critical role in ensuring that accurate product and program information is developed, entered and maintained in the catalog production database.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with multiple departments to determine product specifications, availability and pricing.
Manages product data in specification books to reflect product offerings, product availability and pricing information.
Formats Adobe Illustrator and InDesign files for specification books for a clean print copy.
Proofs specification books throughout production and provides press ready files for printing and web ready PDFs.
Maintains accurate product information in the catalog production database; while working with external vendors to test and implement solutions and updates for this custom software.
Communicates product data information to internal stakeholders by creating reference tools.
Creates and update documentation related to current and new processes.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
1 to 3 years of technical data compilation or data management experience.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
Proficient with Windows operating systems.
Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative with minimal supervision.
Ability to problem solve and perform accurate work under tight schedules.
Demonstrated successful ability to work collaboratively within a team oriented culture.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field
Print industry experience with specific knowledge on Layouts, EasyCatalog and Specification Books.
Starting at $26.00/hour commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus program.
