Job DescriptionGAME, the UK's leading specialist retailer of video games, is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Belfast. This role offers an exciting opportunity for gaming enthusiasts to share their passion whilst delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the perfect games and gaming accessories
- Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain an organised and tidy store environment
- Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
- Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming releases, trends, and promotions
- Contribute to creating an engaging and interactive shopping experience for customers
- Participate in special events and midnight game launches as required
- Work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Genuine enthusiasm for video games and the gaming industry
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Cash handling experience and basic maths skills
- Knowledge of current gaming trends and popular titles
- Previous retail experience, particularly in the gaming industry, is desirable but not essential
