Job Description

Peterson Cat has a need for a Casual Help worker at our Santa Rosa, CA location. The job is of limited duration and expected to last no longer than six (6) months. 

SUMMARY

Responsible for general clean-up of the shop and yard. Assists parts, service, and sales departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Clean shop and yard as needed.
• Assist with set up and take down with special events.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
• Operate overhead cranes and other CAT equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Take care of environmental concerns including wash rack and soil remediation.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.  

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED, and good previous work record required.
• Experience in the safe operation of heavy and other miscellaneous equipment preferred.
• Experience operating a steam cleaning machine preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical work preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Ability to obtain lift truck certification.

The pay range for this position is: $21.27 - 24.46 per hour. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
