Position: Casino Cage Supervisor
Department: Casino

Primary Responsibilities:
•Supervises activities of Cage Operations Must adhere to the Greenbrier Resort’s policies and procedures.
•Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements of Cage Operations.
•Knowledge of policies and procedures of Cage Operations and ensures that they are adhered to at all times.
•Manages inventories of currency, coin, gaming chips, plaques, slot tokens and all forms and records relating to Cage Operations.
•Train, appraise and supervise all Cage Operations personnel. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.

Secondary Responsibilities:
•Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
•Acts as a role model for all employees and is a leader in providing 5 star service.
•Maintains a clean, safe hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Normal Working Hours:
•Nights 8pm-4am

In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

Past Work Experience Requirements:
•Preferred one (1) to three (3) years of casino cage or banking experience
•Minimum of two (2) years cash handling experience
•Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience
*Minimum cash drawer handling of $2500
*Cash drawer reconciliation experience required.

Educational Requirements:
•High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Communication Skills Requirements:
•Must possess verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Technical Requirements:
•Must maintain a State Casino Key Employee license;
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by fractions, whole numbers and decimals;
•Ability to calculate interest, commission and percentages.
