About the role:

Enova operates multiple consumer lending brands, each with distinct offerings and customer criteria. In the role of an Outbound Collections Representative, you will specialize in one brand through our comprehensive 4-week training program. Following the completion of training, you will be responsible for managing and collecting overdue payments from customers through proactive outreach. The role involves negotiating payment arrangements, resolving account discrepancies, and maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to customers with overdue accounts to discuss payment status and negotiate payment arrangements
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities and customer interactions in the Enova’s CRM system
  • Identify and address account discrepancies or issues that may impact payment collection
  • Collaborate with the collections team to develop and implement effective collection strategies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection regulations and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive financial information and maintaining professionalism

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience in a collections role, preferably in an outbound collections capacity
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle challenging conversations tactfully
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Google Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of relevant collection laws and regulations

Compensation: 
The budgeted hourly rate for this position is $21.00. Additional compensation for this role may include bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
