Role Summary

The apprentice will help the Cash Equities team on its daily work. Support with market commentaries, confirmation to clients, improvement of all existing Excel fills of the desk, study on Equity & Derivatives. Ability to work autonomously. The apprentice will work on US hours.

Responsibilities

  • Orders executions & Basket trading
  • Client confirmation
  • Study on stocks and derivatives
  • Assistance in drafting market commentary
  • Improvement of all existing Excel reports in the office
  • Receive, transmit and execute orders received from and for the Company’s clients
  • Develop the Company’s Business
  • Execution of products, across all major exchanges.
  • Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the AMF, ACPR.
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
  • At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
  • To escalate risk events immediately.
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Analytical skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
  • With 5 years' higher education
  • English required
