As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst, you will join Cash Equities team as a Prematching role. You will be responsible for fail management activities for Equities Product, as well as operational procedures and controls for an assigned bunch of clients. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of service contact for each client unmatched or failing trade. As a client service role, daily activities will include, but are not limited, to manage communication, maintain client expectations and resolve issues. You will also participate in joint calls with Clients and Senior Manager to strengthen relationships, address issues and improve daily process.
Position responsibilities:
Core functional responsibilities and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner with a Client Service Middle Office team to understand client issues, be responsible for providing timely follow-up to clients, and be accountable for client satisfaction through the ownership of the problem
- Resolve issues by identifying underlying or hidden problems and patterns
- Build knowledge of Cash Equities products and services
- Serve as a liaison between the Middle Office, Settlements, Technology, Senior Managers and to provide the best service to the client, your department, and the firm
- Identify and control risk to prevent operational risks and avoid financial losses and reputational company impact.
- Prioritize daily workload to maximize productivity utilizing time management and organizational skills
- Follow all established policies, procedures and practices
- Find opportunity areas to improve client service experience, by professionalizing and automatizing daily process.
- Desire to exceed client expectations
- Work independently with supervision and escalate complex issues as necessary to resolve customer requests in a timely manner
Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish
- Relentless and versatile learner with an aptitude for assimilating new industry, company, product or technical knowledge
- Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated, consistent professional presence with the ability to adapt to evolving needs and situations.
- Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and work with independency, intelligence and team player
- Bachelor's degree or in course preferred
