As the Cash Asset Management Senior Data Lead within JPMorgan, you will collaborate with Cash Account Service Owners to achieve strategic objectives and maximize the value of our data assets. You will act as a product owner for a suite of data, analytics, and visualization capabilities, expanding the foundations established for the Expense service across CAM. You will lead a dedicated data team to implement off-stack and Databricks solutions, unlocking the full potential of cash asset data for stakeholders across the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Define and drive the data strategy to support business objectives (including Project Curve) and innovation across the cash asset landscape.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced data solutions, including analytics, visualization, and reporting platforms.
- Oversee the integration and management of data from multiple sources (inside and outside CAM, on and off-stack), ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, finance, and ML/AI experts, to deliver impactful data products.
- Mentor and guide data analysts, engineers, and scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Establish and enforce data governance, permissions, and compliance standards to protect sensitive information.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues, optimizing data structures, processes, and connections for improved performance.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and new technologies in data management, analytics, and visualization.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable data solutions and insights for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on key data metrics, providing recommendations for ongoing improvement and strategic decision making.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven experience with modern data and analytics platforms such as Databricks, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Alteryx, or QlikSense.
- Strong data design skills, enabling sustainable, scalable, and adaptable solutions.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities, including sourcing, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets for actionable outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in data management, applying best practices without compromising speed or quality.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and integrating data solutions into business applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on execution, risk awareness, and problem-solving.
- Proven ability to lead and build cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Demonstrated change management skills, challenging the status quo and driving disciplined project execution.
- Commitment to building and promoting a client, customer, or stakeholder-centered capability.
- Experience in data product ownership or data management within large-scale enterprise environments.
