Job Description:
The Cash Application Supervisor will support the AR Shared Services Leader in designing and implementing cash application processes. Key responsibilities include executing and managing these processes, developing measurement systems to monitor performance against SLA targets, and staying updated on divisional needs to enhance processes and team development. Additionally, the position includes supervising the daily activities of the cash application team and fostering team member growth.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Serve as the FSC Accounts Receivable cash application SME, supporting the AR SSL during divisional work transitions into FSC.
- Perform day-to-day tasks related to the delivery of cash application.
- Perform supervisory tasks for team members within your span of care. Delegate and monitor work as needed. Plan and maintain daily divisional coverage and approve time off.
- Communicate and maintain team performance standards. Deliver established goals and monitor and provide feedback on team member performance.
- Continuously improve service delivery. Identify and implement best practices. Standardize processes where and to the extent possible. Maximize team efficiency and minimize error rates.
- Monitor the overall performance of the cash application team. Keep the AR SSL informed on the status of activities.
- Field customer inquiries and provide customers with necessary requested documentation when requested and deemed appropriate.
- Assist in developing, implement, and report the status of team metrics (SLA achievement, process performance, work volume, cost, error rates, etc.).
- Conduct team audits around cash application and reconciliation and utilize the results for training purposes.
- Champion process improvement and transformation within your span of care.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience specific to cash application processes
- Experience and knowledge of full order to cash lifecycle
- Prior supervisory or project leadership experience a plus (but not required)
- Experience with digital process conversion and technology implementations
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong Excel skills required
- Mapics and Cashbooks knowledge a plus
