We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Applications Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that customer payments are applied accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for identifying discrepancies in payments and making necessary adjustments to customer accounts. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
Accountabilities:
- Accurately post and allocate incoming payments to customer accounts.
- Manage the end-to-end Direct Debiting process, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Oversee the credit card reconciliation process from initiation to completion.
- Handle cheque and Bill of Exchange processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Address and resolve payment-related queries from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Reconcile incoming cash in transit accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Sox Controls and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong level of English and Spanish is required; additional languages are a plus.
- No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
