As a Use Case Solutions Manager you will lead a high-performing team responsible for the design, architecture, delivery, and operation of AI solutions that advance clean energy objectives and business transformation. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, including solution design, architecture reviews, testing, deployment, release management, and ongoing support, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable AI capabilities. You will define AI architecture standards, reusable integration patterns, agent frameworks, and cloud-native solutions that enable rapid and consistent delivery across the backlog of use cases. Your ability to balance strategic architecture, technical delivery, and stakeholder engagement will directly influence the success of clean energy programs and support Con Edisons mission to transform the customer and employee experience for millions of New Yorkers.

ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities
  • Lead AI Platform Engineering Delivery Team: Direct and manage software engineering, AI platform engineering, and solution delivery team responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise AI, Generative AI, automation, and agent-based solutions. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop Integration Capabilities: Lead the integration of AI platforms with enterprise applications, data platforms, cloud services, and business systems to ensure secure connectivity, data accessibility, and rapid onboarding of new technologies and capabilities.
  • Advance AI Innovation and Adoption: Evaluate, solution, implement, and operationalize agentic solutions and emerging technologies with Azure AI Foundry, GCP Vertex AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI and enterprise systems to expand organizational capabilities and accelerate business value realization.
  • Governance: Create reference architectures, templates, and implementation guidance for cross-cloud AI solutions. Conduct architecture reviews to ensure consistency, scalability, maintainability, and supportability.
  • Manage Service Performance: Define and govern service level agreements (SLAs), platform health metrics, reliability objectives, and operational performance indicators to ensure delivery of stable, scalable, and business-critical AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders and Technology Partners: Partner closely with business leaders, engineering teams, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cybersecurity, vendors, and implementation partners to align priorities, remove delivery obstacles, and drive successful adoption of AI capabilities across the organization.
  • Automation Solution Delivery: Direct the planning, execution, and operationalization of AI and automation initiatives from ideation through deployment and ongoing support. Lead end-to-end SDLC, testing, deployment, and release management for AI platform capabilities and use cases.
  • Ensure Reliable Platform Operations: Establish and oversee operational support models, monitoring and observability frameworks, service management processes, and performance metrics that ensure the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of AI platform services. Maintain operational support processes and adhere to Corporate AI governance.
  • Ensure Compliance with AI Governance and Security Standards: Govern adherence to corporate AI governance, cybersecurity policies, data privacy requirements, regulatory obligations, and enterprise technology standards to ensure the secure, compliant, and responsible deployment of AI solutions.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignment as required.
QualificationsRequired Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or
  • Master's Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Relevant Work Experience
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions, required.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML platforms, agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and enterprise AI architectures, required.
  • Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, required.
  • Experience in implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects, required.
  • Experience leading development teams, required.
  • Experience managing architecture standards, technical reviews, and technology roadmaps, required.
  • Experience with APIs and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk), required.
  • Experience in Energy Efficiency Industry and Programs, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, preferred.
  • Experience in Energy Efficiency Industry and Programs, preferred.
  • Strong background in automation solutions strategy, SDLC, implementation and management, preferred.
  • Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, AWS) and/or AI-related certifications, preferred.
