About the Role: 

The Case Management Supervisor is a vital leader within Aspire’s case management services, providing operational oversight and developmental supervision for a dedicated team. You’ll build positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and stakeholders while driving program excellence and supporting a culture of growth and community integration. Your leadership ensures Aspire’s mission comes to life in every interaction. 

This role is part of Aspire Living & Learning’s exciting opportunity to partner with the State of Vermont under a new contract. We expect to learn the outcome of this contract in January 2025. In preparation, we are actively identifying talented individuals to join our team and help us deliver high-quality services to individuals in Vermont. We plan to start reaching out to candidates in early to mid-January to initiate the hiring process and build our team structure—anticipating a successful partnership with the state.

What You’ll Do: 

Build Relationships & Communication: 

  • Develop positive, collaborative relationships with employees, families, guardians, and local/state agencies. 
  • Ensure all communication is professional, timely, and clear, fostering trust and mutual respect around Aspire’s mission. 

Program Management: 

  • Cultivate a supportive environment to retain high-quality employees, providing developmental supervision to encourage professional growth. 
  • Monitor programmatic compliance with Aspire’s policies and federal/state regulations, meeting all licensing standards. 
  • Provide fiscal oversight under the guidance of the Director of Case Management and Senior Operations Director. 
  • Lead quality assurance and enhancement efforts, executing program goals to improve outcomes. 
  • Champion a culture of community integration, ensuring individuals’ goals align with person-centered principles. 

Leadership & Coordination: 

  • Lead by example to implement company initiatives, policies, and priorities. 
  • Foster a positive team environment rooted in collaboration, growth, and open communication. 
  • Provide direction and coaching to ensure policies and standards are consistently understood and implemented. 
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support operational excellence. 

What You Bring: 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in human services, including at least 2 years of case management experience in Vermont. 
  • Must meet QDDP qualifications for at least one year. 

Skills & Leadership: 

  • Strong knowledge of management techniques, program oversight, and best practices. 
  • Familiarity with funding agency regulations and programmatic requirements. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills. 
  • Proven leadership abilities to supervise, guide, and develop high-performing teams. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate electronic records. 
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound decision-making authority.

Working Conditions: 

  • Ability to manage physical aspects of the job, including bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and extended periods of walking or standing. 
  • Flexibility to travel and provide on-call support as needed.
