This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, flexible, and able to build meaningful relationships with youth from diverse backgrounds.

    • problem-solving abilities
  • Support students during difficult moments with patience, empathy, and calm guidance
  • Facilitate engaging small groups focused on social-emotional growth and resilience
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, therapists, and families to support student success
  • Advocate for students and help connect families with helpful community resources
  • Maintain timely documentation and communication to support quality care and continuity of services
  • Serve as a positive, encouraging adult role model for students who may need additional support and connection

What This Work Looks Like

No two days are exactly the same.

One moment, you may be helping a student calm down after a difficult interaction. Later, you might celebrate a small but meaningful success — a student using healthy coping skills, attending class consistently, or opening up for the first time.

Our staff are often the steady, caring presence students remember years later.

This work requires compassion, resilience, creativity, teamwork, and a belief that growth is always possible.
