Job Description
The Cargo Sales Executive plays a key role in supporting Turkish Cargo’s daily sales activities, rate management, and booking operations. The role ensures timely and accurate handling of customer enquiries, reservations, and partner airline coordination to deliver efficient cargo movement and maintain service quality.
Location: KUL
- Monitor shipment records and ensure alignment between rate quotations, bookings, and system data.
- Handle daily booking requests, ad-hoc rates, and follow up on booking status.
- Respond to cargo enquiries, provide quotations, and follow up on pending or unresolved cargo issues.
- Track shipments and manage delays or rebookings with space controllers; communicate updates to agents with proper documentation.
- Process and monitor interline and local allotments, ensuring maximum utilization and adjusting bookings as needed.
- Support urgent and premium space requests by coordinating with head office or partner airlines.
- Conduct sales visits/calls to gather market information, strengthen relationships with agents, and d velop new opportunities; submit visit reports.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to deliver consistent customer support and service recovery.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Aviation, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in cargo reservations, sales support, or airline operations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks.Excellent communication and coordination skills across internal and external parties.
Familiarity with cargo systems (e.g., CargoSpot, Skychain) is an advantage.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to operational changes.
Skills Required
