Proactively engage students to identify and overcome barriers to certification and employment
Drive certification readiness through consistent follow-up, milestone tracking, and collaboration with academic teams
Prepare students for the workforce through resume development, interview coaching, and job search support
Actively source and identify employment opportunities for students (hunter mentality required)
Support students with job applications, employer connections, and placement follow-up
Maintain detailed documentation of student interactions, outcomes, and progress in internal systems
Partner with employer engagement and career services teams to align students with job opportunities
Support workshops, career events, and placement-focused initiatives
Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless student experience
How You’ll Be Measured
Student retention and persistence
Certification readiness and completion rates
Graduation progression
Job placement outcomes and related leading indicators
Student engagement and activity tracking
What We’re Looking For
Required:
1–2+ years of experience in student services, career services, advising, recruiting, workforce development, or similar
Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and hold students accountable
Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, and compliance-focused environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Preferred:
Experience with CampusNexus or similar student management systems
Background in career placement, recruiting, or employment services
Experience working toward performance metrics tied to outcomes
What Makes You a Great Fit
You don’t wait for opportunities; you go find them
You are assertive, proactive, and driven by results
You take ownership of outcomes and feel accountable for student success
You are energized by helping others achieve life-changing goals
You thrive in a structured environment with clear expectations and measurable performance
