The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Career Coach to support product managers at various career levels as they navigate their next career move. This role is part of an upgraded service package for graduates of our Product Management Certification programs and is designed to help them achieve career success—whether that’s securing a new role, earning a promotion, or advancing within their current organization. The ideal candidate will provide personalized career guidance, ensure students are actively utilizing coaching services, and facilitate connections between graduates and Product Leaders.

What you'll do:

• Career Coaching & Guidance

  • Provide one-on-one coaching to product managers, tailoring advice to their career stage and goals.
  • Assist with job search strategies, interview preparation, resume and LinkedIn optimization, and career roadmapping.
  • Guide students in navigating promotions, career transitions, and professional development opportunities.

  Proactive Engagement & Student Success

  • Ensure students are actively engaging with career coaching services through outreach and personalized follow-ups.
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support to maximize their success.
  • Encourage student renewals and upsells by demonstrating the value of coaching services.

  Networking & Industry Connections

  • Facilitate meaningful introductions between students and Product Leaders.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to help students expand their opportunities.
  • Provide insights into the latest trends and hiring practices in product management.

  Performance & Metrics

  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
  • Sessions completed.
  • Student renewals and upsells.
  • Positive student feedback and ratings.
  • Track student progress and measure the impact of coaching on career advancement.

This role could be a good fit for you if:

• You have 3+ years of experience in career coaching.
• You have 2+  years experience in product management, or Product Recruiting.
• You have a solid network in the product space.
• You have a deep understanding of career progression in product management and the skills necessary for success at different levels.
• You have strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to tailor guidance to each student’s unique needs.
• You have experience in relationship-building and networking, with the ability to connect students to relevant professionals.
• You are highly proactive and results-oriented, with a passion for helping others succeed.
• You are metrics driven and exceed performance goals.

The compensation package offered for this position is between $70,000 - $170,000. Please note this is a range and actual salary may vary based on work experience and qualifications, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.  Additionally, this compensation package could consist of other components, such as commissions and/or performance bonus.
