In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI, and set you up for long-term career success. The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization.
As a manufacturing supervisor, you will work in a manufacturing environment in the factory with manufacturing direct reports. The desired candidate will have previous experience transitioning to new roles quickly and effectively, learning new concepts, and being self-motivated to meet objectives in a rapid paced work environment.
This role is required to work on a shift basis with 12 hours rotating shifts.
The candidate must be a team player who can work with supervisors and engineers to achieve business goals, have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, influence others within and across teams, and relate to individuals from various backgrounds, experiences, and skills. The ability to successfully motivate and enable others to perform at a high level is fundamental to the job role. Experience with training and developing others or leading teams is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage workgroup in semiconductor manufacturing to achieve manufacturing objectives
- Ensure safety, facilitate training, manage and oversee resource allocation
- Understand material flow into and out of work group; Reducing human error scrap
- Drive continuous improvement activities on shift for cycle time and productivity
- Motivate and coach workgroup
- Plan and administer policies and procedures
- Lead and implement 5S efforts in a manufacturing facility start-up environment on designated shift
- Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function
- Escalate production issues in a timely and effective manner
- Understand processes to prevent scrap occurrence, poor quality and lost cycle time
- Communicate process changes, production goals, and helping to resolve issues involving the engineering support groups
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and technical issues that impact manufacturing, costs, cycle time, etc. in a highly automated factory
- Provide immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals
- Drive audit scores to 100%; Working to optimize area layout and providing smooth shift transitions

QualificationsMinimum requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing engineering, or any manufacturing relevant background
- CGPA 3.0 and above
- Role open from fresh graduate up to 2 years of relevant experiences
- Candidates with manufacturing experiences will be added advantage

- Proven ability to perform in a teaming environment through influencing and execution of projects in support of Fab start-up
- Have knowledge of manufacturing sciences, manufacturing process and equipment
- Readily accept changes in the organization and business
