Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for exceptional, patient focused Cardiology Scheduling Coordinators to join our Heart Center and make a difference for our patients and our community.
The Cardiology Scheduling Coordinator provides exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and employees. This position schedules appointments, verifies insurance, checks in patients for appointments, and manages patient reception.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. No weekends.
Required Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a direct customer/patient service position.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in a personable and professional manner
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a fast-paced healthcare setting with patients, families, and healthcare personnel
- Ability to organize and prioritize work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception or customer service or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with an electronic medical record system, preferably Epic.
