Join Santiam Hospital’s Cardiology team in Stayton, Oregon, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care in a collaborative practice. In this role, you will partner closely with one of the areas most skilled and reputable non-interventional cardiologist in a shared office setting to evaluate, manage, and support patients across the continuum of cardiology care.

Practice Highlights

Full-time, 40 hours per week including 34 patient hours and 6 dedicated administrative hours. Possible 4-day work week available.

Manage cardiac follow-up appointments and chronic cardiovascular disease cases.

Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) accurately.

Perform thorough surgical cardiac clearance evaluations.

Maintain a standard patient volume of 16 to 20 patients per day.

Collaborate directly with the attending cardiologist on complex cases.

No call coverage.
Ideal Candidate
-
Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) eligible for licensure in Oregon.

1 to 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiology or internal medicine, including outpatient practice exposure.

Strong EKG interpretation skills and sound independent clinical judgment.

Efficient, patient-focused, and highly team-oriented.

Comfortable managing common cardiovascular conditions independently, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension, with the ability to order appropriate diagnostic studies and optimize guideline-directed medical therapy.

Good with communication and time management.
