- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail banking, deposit operations or branch administration strongly preferred
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to speak effectively with customers in person and on the phone
- Exemplary customer services skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents as well as write routine reports and correspondence
- Professionalism in dress and communication
- Proficiency with PC including Microsoft Office products and office equipment
- Familiarity and comfort with banking systems, preferably Jack Henry
- Ability to reconcile and calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages
