Costaterra is a private members only residential community in Comporta – Portugal. It combines luxury living with top-tier hospitality, offering incredible dining, a world-class golf course, spa services, outdoor pursuits, and immersive local experiences.
As a car washer, you will be responsible for washing and vacuuming vehicles, performing visual inspections, keeping the workspace and equipment organized, reporting any damage to the manager, and supporting the maintenance team—always ensuring a high standard of service.
What you will do?
- Wash vehicles using brushes, sponges, and pressure washers, including windows, tires, and hard-to-reach areas.
- Drive and park vehicles carefully in designated areas to avoid damage.
- Perform visual inspections before and after cleaning to identify and address stubborn dirt.
- Ensure vehicles are fully cleaned, dried, and vacuumed to a high standard.
- Keep the washing area and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Monitor and report stock levels of cleaning products and tools to the manager.
- Support the maintenance team and carry out additional tasks as assigned.
- Maintain high service standards to positively represent Costa Terra Ocean & Golf Club.
What are we looking for?
- Proven safe driver and clean driving records is essential.
- Ability to communicate professionally.
- Customer service experience and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time.
- Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information.
- Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once.
- Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission.
- Organizational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys.
